    Currently, I manage the UX Product Design Team within the wider Customer Experience Team. Our scope of work covers: Consumer facing web, Mobile applications, Enterprise tools and Internal communication experiences. My charter is growing the team, their competencies, careers and to encourage a course of design excellence that modernizes the digital user experience.

  • Motorola - Sr. Visual and UX Design Lead

    2011 - 2017

    (2013-17) Leading the visual design efforts within the MotoDirect team at Motorola Mobility, I applied my hybrid skillset to work cross channel with marketing, brand, and product teams in identification, design and implementation of new features and functionality. My team supported campaign and product stories which brought new product introductions and merchandising to a global audience of consumers.


    (2011-13) As Channel Marketing Art Director my role was to unify the brand presence among our retail and carrier partners that had been diluted over years of agency transitions and growth. Bringing the work in-house, I worked with product and retail teams to produce cohesive and on-brand materials for seasonal shippers, training and sales materials, mobile apps, event digital and print deliverables, and retail display designs for Best Buy, Fry's, HH Gregg, Verizon, ATT, T-Mobile, and BoostMobile.

  • Cardenas Marketing Network - Art Director

    2010-2011

    Worked with the internal marketing team to support DIAGEO, I designed, managed production and fulfillment for go-to-market sales programs, retail kitting for on-premise / holiday programs. Focusing the voice around annual occasions that spoke to assimilated second- and third- generation Pan-Hispanic audiences, the program included Out of home, on-premise sampling and retail experiences. These programs covered metro channels for Bailey's, Captain Morgan's, Buchannan's, Smirnoff Flavors and Ciroq. Other work with CMN included: the Chevy GLEE Tour, the Smirnoff “I Choose” campaign, and Gold Cup Football '11/12.

    2007-2012

    Provided creative and direction for digital and print marketing programs that demanded highly individualized and personalized creative for brands and agencies including: Milliessme PR, Lightning Man Promotions, The Marketing Store, C3 Agency, Mr. Gatti's Pizza, Legacy Marketing Partners and the Integer Group, Virgin America, OfficeMax, MillerCoors, Pilsner Urquell, Absolut, LG, Heineken, Nicolas Feuillette Champagne, and MillerCoors.

  • Ala Carte Entertainment / Sr. Designer

    2001-2007

    Managed a cross channel design and production team providing support to hospitality establishments. As a manager, I developed streamlined / turnkey processes that enabled timely and efficient turnaround of artifacts supporting multiple marketing programs. I directed a team in the execution of print and digital advertising, adopting early SMS and social media platforms to reach consumers daily with relevant content around hospitality and events programs.

    1999-2001

    Tasked with supporting sales and marketing teams to create catalogs, and was instrumental in organizing sales lead material and pitch presentations. I designed retail treatments for clients including: Old Navy Flagship Stores, Burberry, Gucci, and Armani Exchange.
